IIM-Raipur celebrates 3rd Annual Convocation Day

 Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance -Sunil Munjal

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has awarded the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) to 98 students during the 3rd annual convocation.

According to a news report, Sunil Munjal, Joint Managing Director of HeroMotocorp Ltd., and Chairman Hero Corporate Service Ltd., was the chief guest of the convocation. Hari S Bharita, Chairman, Board of Governor of the IIM Raipur, supervised the function.

While addressing the students at the convocation, Sunil Munjal said that the great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance.

Munjal congratulated the graduates and asked them to think big, dream big and to follow their dreams with dedication. He also mentioned the importance of setting goals as the first step towards turning dreams into reality.

Bhartia, encouraged the cooperation from the Central Government, the State Government, Ministry of HRD, students, faculty members, Board of Governors in giving a new standard in management education. He also asked the students to step into the world with a set goal to use the knowledge they gained at the institute and transform the society for betterment.

With anecdote like “Service before Self”, he encouraged the batch to move ahead with confidence and conquer life’s battles without giving up. He also advised the students to take an informed choice and to always remember that success is measured in terms of ‘character’ for which they were groomed at IIM Raipur.
