NIT Wrangal invites application for its Written Entrance Test

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal is going conduct the National Institute of Technology Warangal Entrance Test (NITWET 2014). This entrance test is held by the institute to test the eligibility of candidates applying for its Master of Science (M.Sc) programmes.

M.Sc programmes offered:

  • Engineering Physics
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Mathematics and Scientific Computing
  • Organic Chemistry
  • Analytical Chemistry 

Exam pattern:

The question paper consists of 80 multiple choice objective questions in each subject. The exam is held for a duration of two hours. Every right answer will earn the candidate four marks, whereas one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. 

Eligibility:

Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 60 per cent (55 per centr for SC/ST) marks from a recognised university.

Interested and eligible candidates can obtain the application form from the institute’s official website: http://www.nitw.ac.in/nitw/ 

Offline :Candidates have to submit the duly filled application a along with photocopies of necessary certificates and with demand draft for Rs 800 (Rs 400 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Director, NIT Warangal, payable at S.B.H, NIT Warangal Branch (Code No. 20149) or SBI, Battala Bazar Branch, Warangal. 

Important date:

  • Last date for the receipt of application form: April 25, 2014.
