The UPSEE 2014 is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow to test the eligibility of candidates seeking admission to engineering and management courses in various government aided and private aided institutions affiliated to the university in the state.
This year students have been made to stand at a fork road and choose between UPSEE and NDA exams, as both the exam are scheduled to be held on April 20.
However, this is not the first time that students have found themselves in such a situation. The same situation was presented to them in the year 2010, 2011 and 2013 when both the exams were held on the same date.
Many students have written to the UPTU with a request to change the date of examination, according to a news daily. Though, in case the dates remain unchanged students will have to pick between one of the two exam based on their inclination and ability to crack the entrance exam.
Candidates can have a look at the list of colleges and institutes accepting scores as well as cut-offs which accept UPSEE scores on the following website: http://www.uptu.ac.in/academics/inst_list.asp

After completing their training at NDA, Army Cadets will go to Indian Military Academy, Naval Cadets to Naval Academy and Air Force Cadets to Air Force Academy for a final year of training.
