Madurai Kamaraj University announces Junior Research Fellow 2014


Applications are invited from qualified candidates for Junior Research Fellow 2014 post to work on a research project sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS)‚ Mumbai at School of Chemistry‚ Madurai Kamaraj University.

Title of the project: Bioinspired Models for Unusual Tris-Histidine Motif in Non-Heme Iron Enzymes
  • M.Sc Chemistry with CSIR-NET‚ Rs. 16‚000 plus HRA (as per MKU norms)
Duration of the Project: 3 years (From third year onwards the position will be promoted as Senior Research Fellow‚ SRF)

  • Current second year M.Sc students with above mentioned qualification are also encouraged to apply
  • The applicants will be shortlisted by entrance examination and followed by an interview on the same day for shortlisted candidates only
  • The selected candidate will be eligible to register PhD in Madurai Kamaraj University
Also‚ JRF may need to work at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)‚ Mumbai if required
