The All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is a yearly college entrance examination in India. The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges around the country. Presently, 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal, or other local authorities in India, except in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, are reserved for candidates who pass this examination.
This year the exam was conducted on May 4th.For which, the results will be declared anytime in June. It was declared that the results are expected to come out in the first week of June.
The CBSE will prepare the merit list/ wait list as per the directives of the Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI.
The candidates can download their results sheets and rank cards once the results are announced.
However, no applications for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets are entertained by them.
The test consisted of 180 objective-type multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) which were to be answered in three hours. The syllabus was based on topics both from Class 11 and Class 12. The candidates could opt for question paper either in English or in Hindi.
The records of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test will be preserved till the August 31.
