Agreement between Symbiosis and ACCA
As per news, the Symbiosis International University has joined hands with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants for the welfare finance students.
They will provide a unique opportunity to finance students to achieve their bachelor’s degree in business and finance plus a globally recognized professional accountancy qualification. Vidya Yeravdekar, the principal director of Symbiosis.
Along with the regular bachelors degree programme there will also be ACCA tuitions given to the students.
At the end of the programme, through their ACCA exams, students will also achieve a degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom (UK), as per sources.
ACCA is the global body for professional accountants with 1.70 lakh members and 4.32 lakh students in 180 countries worldwide. The aim of ACCA is to offer business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people of application among others. The qualification of ACCA is officially recognized as being equal to master’s degree in the UK. The qualification usually takes 3 years to complete in the UK. Here, it will be completed along with the bachelor’s degree.
Bhama Venkatramani, who is the director of Symbiosis Centre of Management Studies says that the agreement will help their students as well as explore the avenues of national boundary. The director is very happy with this and enthusiastic that both students as well as their parents will utilize the opportunity.
