Encouraging research at both School and University level in every district


Innovation labs will soon be set up in every district for students to think of new ideas which will be funded by the government under an ambitious scheme to encourage research at both school and university level.

‘Rashtriya Aavishkar Abhiyaan’ programme-The HRD Smriti Irani says in order to enable students from all districts, develop his or her ideas, the programme would see the setting up of innovation labs. The innovation labs will not only be limited till academics. It will also be linked to the proposed council of higher education so that the innovations that are capable to turn into great business do not die.

Proper funding for such innovations will be done. Satya Nadella said that they will start a fund that will support innovation. Things will start by the dawn of the next year. Government has planned several initiatives for the benefit of students because they have a huge expectation from the youth of the country. They all are anxious because they have great expectation from the youth. They start will a promise for a greater tomorrow.

To realize the objectives and direct the things well, HRD and her team has proposed to set up the council for higher education on industry academia collaboration.

After that, as far as counselling is concerned, every central university including IIM and IIT where everyone will realize and be able to fulfill their dream of pursuing their desired career.

Drawing parallels between Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said that they chased their dreams and their stories “signify a gamut of possibilities a young man can have”.
