Cambridge Trust offers scholarship to Indian PhD students
The University of Cambridge is one of the leading higher education institutes in the world having 18,000 students from around the world, 9,000 staff, 31 colleges, 150 departments, faculties, schools and other institutes.
For the meritorious students from India, Cambridge Trust offers Cambridge India Ramanujan Scholarships in the field of Research. For this, the Cambridge Trust has tied up with the Science and Research Board of India.
Now looking to this scholarship aid, Indian students will be able to take up doctoral studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Cambridge in UK, for this will enable around 20 PhD students to pursue their studies in Cambridge University at any given point of time.
The ‘Cambridge Indian Ramanujan Scholarship’ is expected to be offered from 2015 itself. Currently, Cambridge Trust has 36 scholarship programs for Indian students.
Interested Candidates should alongside apply to the Science and Engineering Research Board of India too.
Under this scholarship scheme, the students will not only get the university composition fee but also an annual stipend that will be sufficient for a single person.
