New education policy, India focus on human values


Looking at the present education system, which according to the HRD Minister Smriti Irani is producing only degrees and not adding values to the students, she emphasis on teachers to teach moral values to the students.

She said this during a function organised by the ABVP. For this having a structure where students are taught moral values is a must.

The Indian government will frame new education policy where the focus will be on producing good human beings besides educationalists. Moreover, as per Irani, the new education policy is expected to come out next year.

On this occasion, Irani honoured Arunima Sinha, a former national-level volleyball player who created history by becoming the first Indian amputee to conquer Mount Everest.

Moreover,The Union Minister also announced Sinha as brand ambassador for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Uttar Pradesh.
