Varanasi student of IIT bags an offer of Rs 2.03 crores

Yes this is true when the reports say that a student bags an offer of a whopping amount of Rupees 2.03 crores. The offer is made by the well known company named Oracle. With the showering job offers at IIT, this offer was the one made at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

The other exciting offer next to this offer was from Google Mountain View for a Rs.1.63 crore pay package. The placement process at IIT BHU had started December 2014 and here is a shower of offer. Similar offers were made to 5 students from IIT Bombay had received an offer from Facebook for a Rs. 1.42 crore pay package.

The Training and Placement Cell, Prof Anil Kumar Agarwal on this expressed that this is the highest salary offered by a company to our student.

Uptill now there was a bunch of multinational companies visiting the campus which includes MNCs such as Oracle US, Google Mountain View, Microsoft Redmond, Epic Systems, Works Applications, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Visa who had visited the IIT BHU campus for placement services as per Prof Anilkumar.

Compared to last year, the packages are better this year. Last year, in 2013, the highest pay package was Rs 65 lakh from Microsoft. Around 52 students got jobs on Tuesday with 56 job offers. [IIT Kharagpur student gets whopping Rs 1.5 crore pay package]

Moreover, the reports say that, it is expected that more than 100 firms will visit the campus for the recruitment process. The first phase of the placement process will be held from December 01 to 21, 2014, the second phase would begin from January 2nd 2015.
